Business Security Systems Provide the Best Hospitality

Every business these days needs to think about how close to maximum security they can get their premises. The recent attacks in Pakistan and India exemplify the need for hotels to rethink what they have until believed is adequate protection for the guests and employees. While no one could ever guarantee that those acts could have been completely stopped, the number of deaths would have been dramatically reduced had the correct equipment, arrangements, procedures and security personnel training been in situ and in use. As an example, the attackers were able to easily get into not only the street level but then to all other floors as well. The worst thing that should have happened is that they maybe were successful shooting their way into the lobby and then blocked there.

With proper business security systems in place at the ingress location, even that could have been made profoundly more rigorous and halted there. There is no excuse for this lack of protection for guests and employees. Hotels require an integrated security plan including total control of all possible entrances to the building; coded, fingerprint activated room cards; 24/7 CCTV scrutiny of all public areas. In addition to the requisite technology, their personnel need proper training not just in opening doors and saying good morning but in actually how to monitor and patrol an area. They need to understand how to assess any potential threats and what to do in case one is identified to bring the situation under control.
