Whatever stage your venture is at, Blue Door can assist. Residential training courses for new starters to the hospitality trade are held regularly in the famous resort town of Llandudno, North Wales.

The residential courses have some extra advantages:

There is no obligation for any follow-up work with Blue Door but we will always be here to assist as your future plans evolve. Residential courses will also be offered on specific areas of concern such as Customer Service, Legislative Issues, Marketing and others.

An Introduction to the world of the B&B for
those without previous experience looking to run their first guest house.

A 2 day residential course run in a relaxed informal atmosphere with
no more than 8 participants.

Course Programme - Friday Arrival

7.30pm - Buffet supper with informal introductions and time to get to know each other.

Saturday - Day One

How running a guest house will affect your lifestyle
Exploring the owners role in the B&B

Lunch 12.30pm-1.30pm

Free time to explore Llandudno

8.00pm  Dinner –  Three course dinner at a local restaurant

An introduction to the market and how you will compete.

 Lunch

Session Four  2.00pm – 3.00pm

A one hour introductory session on legislation.
 This session may be changed to a topic which has been identified by the group as immediate need.
